Toyota could be flooded with lawsuits
Osaka News.Net Monday 15th March, 2010
Some Toyota drivers in the US have sued Toyota for a full refund.
Lawsuits have been filed, so far in two states, asking that judgements be made to allow Toyota owners to return vehicles and get their money back.
Toyota already has dozens of lawsuits on its hands after some owners sought compensation for any lost value due to faults, rather than a full refund.
Both types of lawsuits could eventually become class-action suits in an issue which has seen Toyota recalling millions of vehicles in the US because of accelerator sticking problems. Email this story to a friend

Toyota owners go to court for refund
Toyota is wasting its time. It is better in the long run to pull out of the US. Why bother selling cars in the US when the collapse of the USD is going to be CERTAIN (a matter of at the LATEST 1-2 years).

Toyota Motor Corp said on Monday it had found no evidence to support the driver’s account of a widely publicized “runaway” Prius incident in California that overshadowed the company’s attempts to restart sales after a punishing series of recalls.
U.S. safety investigators said separately that they had yet to pinpoint any evidence to support or disprove the claim that a 2008 Prius sped out of control near San Diego a week ago. More...
